No name in quilting is more associated with Log Cabin quilts than Judy Martin.

Judy Martin's Log Cabin Quilt Book. Since 1980, when
Log Cabin Quilts came out, Judy has designed and published 75 new and original Log Cabin variations, including such popular patterns as Snake River Log Cabin and Colorado Log Cabin. Her knowledge of and affection for the pattern is well established. Judy Martin has been making quilts since 1969 and writing about them since 1979. She was an editor at
Quilter's Newsletter Magazine and
Quiltmaker from 1979-1987.
