My daughter and I have been collecting Oz memorabilia and books for 25 years. This is one of the best, if not the best, Oz book I have seen on the market. Both authors are known Oz enthusiasts and collectors and their love and devotion to the film comes through the entire book. The narrative is very informative and an easy read about the making of this film classic, but what really makes this book stand out are the pictures! The book is a pure visual delight with the inclusion of so many rarely seen or previously unknown photos taken during the making of the movie. I found myself leafing through the pages to see what new, never-before-seen image would excite me next and make me want to see the movie again. This book is a true treasure and belongs on the book shelf of any Oz fan, young or old. I highly recommend this book -- you will not be disappointed.

Being a long time Wizard of Oz collector I couldn't wait for this book to be released! These two authors have lived up, once again, to produce yet another great book for all of us who love The Wizard of Oz to delight in. The book has wonderful photos and really takes you into the movie! I love how it covers the film with the information that we as collector's want to see instead of boring the reader with trivial facts that don't add anything to the enjoyment of a true fan of Oz. It gives a wonderful overview of this great American Film Classic through words and photos! This book is a refreshing look at the movie, something new for us Oz collectors. It's fresh and put together to flow from page one to the end without losing your interest. Unlike other 75th. Anniversary books that are nothing but a re print of previous releases with very few things added to the new book. This Anniversary book is the one to have on your shelf if you love Oz and the memories the film brings back. It's a book I'll read and look at many times and I'm very happy to have it included in my Oz collection of 47 years!
